My first blog!

Hello, and welcome to my first ever blog. Let me start by giving some background info about myself. I was made redundant in 2007 after 18 years in full time employment. I decided not long after that I would take the opportunity to try and pursue a passion I had for everything art related. This saw me quickly make the transistion from full time employment into full time education. I am now into my second year of a foundation degree in Graphic Design at Cleveland College of Art & Design. I have to admit that going back into education after so long was a daunting prospect at first, but I have to say I have really enjoyed meeting new people and learning about other artists and their respective movements,as well as improving my skills as a Graphic Designer.

Having a passion for a subject really helps keep you motivated and focused. Therefore I decided to create a blog as a means of networking with other creatives who share similar interests with myself. I will be posting various samples of my work on here as soon as possible.
